Teachers in Malaysia are set to receive a salary increase under the Public Service Remuneration System. The Education Minister announced a 15 per cent rise for support and management staff, and seven per cent for top management, effective Thursday. Comparatively, salaries for teachers in Hong Kong are significantly higher, reflecting different living costs.
